Chambourcin or Seyval Grape Juice Jell-O®

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of gelatin
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • ½ cup boiling water, cooled slighty
  • 1-¼ cup grape juice

Directions:

  • Dissolve gelatin for 3-5 minutes in ¼ cup cold water
  • Add ½ cup boiled water (cooled slightly)
  • Add 1-¼ cup grape juice
  • Stir to blend
  • Pour into mold or into small (6x6) Pyrex
  • Allow to set and cut into cubes

Chambourcin Grape Juice Spritzer

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz Chambourcin grape juice
  • 6 oz club soda or sparkling water
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Strawberry and kiwi

Directions:

  • Fill glass half way with ice and pour ingredients into glass
  • Garnish with fresh mint and skewered strawberry and kiwi

Seyval Grape Juice Spritzer

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz Seyval grape juice
  • 6 oz club soda or sparkling water
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Honeydew melon and fresh peach

Directions:

  • Fill glass half way with ice and pour ingredients into glass
  • Add fresh mint
  • Garnish with skewered honeydew melon and fresh peach

Chambourcin Grape Juice and Fruit Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups red grape juice
  • 12 oz fresh or frozen fruit: raspberries, strawberries and blueberries

Directions:

  • Puree until smooth, pour into popsicle molds and freeze

Seyval Grape Juice and Fruit Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white grape juice
  • 12 oz fresh or frozen fruit: peach, pineapple and mango

Directions:

  • Puree until smooth, pour into molds and freeze

Grape Juice Vinaigrette

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Chamboucin or Seyval grape juice
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-½ tbsp sherry vinegar
  • Salt & white pepper to taste

Directions:

  • Reduce 1 cup grape juice over low heat to between ½ and 1/3 cup
  • Let cool and pour into blender
  • Add ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Add 1-½ tbsp sherry vinegar
  • Add salt and white pepper to taste
  • Blend until smooth
  • Toss mixed greens with candied walnuts, golden raisins & blue cheese, drizzle with vinaigrette to taste

Chambourcin Sangria

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of chilled Chambourcin grape juice
  • ½ cup pitted and quartered fresh cherries
  • 1 sliced fresh peach
  • 1 sliced lemon, remove seeds
  • 2 sliced oranges, remove seeds
  • ½ cup brandy optional

Directions:

  • Place all in pitcher and allow to chill 4 hours

Seyval Sangria

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of chilled Seyval Blanc grape juice
  • 1 peeled and sliced mango
  • 1 fresh sliced peach
  • 1 sliced lemon, seeds removed
  • ¼ cup fresh mint, stems removed and washed
  • ½ cup brandy optional

Directions:

  • Place all in pitcher and allow to chill 4 hours

Borscht "beet" Gazpacho with Chambourcin Grape Juice

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of Chambourcin grape juice
  • 1 medium shallot
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ peeled English cucumber
  • 1 pound fresh roasted peeled beets
  • 3 celery sticks
  • 1 tbsp Jerez vinegar
  • ½ c extra virgin olive oil
  • Pinch of ground white pepper
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Directions:

  • Add ingredients to blender
  • Blend until smooth and reserve in refrigerator
